Watership Down on April 8th in Santa Fe

On Saturday April 8th we invite you to a one-off showing of the classic animation Watership Down at the Jean Cocteau cinema in Santa Fe. The showing starts at 4.00pm and you can buy tickets online.

Adapted from the book of the same name, this 1978 film was acclaimed for presenting a hard-hitting but poignant tale for a mature audience.  When Man threatens their habitat with destruction, a warren of rabbits attempt a perilous journey toward a mysterious promised land and a more perfect society.

NMHRS volunteers Criss Starr and Margo DeMello, Phd. will make a special presentation beforehand.

If you missed this film the first time around, are a fan of animation, or appreciate seminal (and often apocalyptic) 70’s cinema, this is a rare opportunity to view the film as intended in a theatre. Plenty of friendly bunny advocates will also be in attendance, if you need a hug at the end.

Join us! Get tickets now.
