Swiffer finds love!
We had a great adoption and education event last weekend. We were situated at a new location Eldorado Country Pet, just south of Santa Fe. The best news is that gorgeous Swiffer found a forever home with a lovely family who had already done a lot of research on house rabbits. It’s great to help someone find their bunny.
We also met lots of interesting people, gave visiting bunnies free nail trims, sold raffle tickets for our wonderful Rabbit in the Moon quilt (which you can still buy tickets for online) and accepted donations from supporters. One visitor said
“The people we met with today were generous with their time – my husband learned a lot about rabbits. I made a small donation and they were pleased regardless of the amount. We are horse and cat people and it is great knowing folks are taking care of our smaller creatures. Your rabbits were clean and looked loved and cared for. A pleasure meeting you all.”
The Santa Fe Animal Shelter still has a number of beautiful white, red eyed bunnies for adoption if you missed out.
