Cole is a sweet young boy with immaculate litterbox habbits. He has been waiting for his forever home since July 2012. He loves his supervised outdoor romps in a secure area and would love to give you years of love and happiness. Please consider adopting Cole and making him a member of your family.

 . Monty .
 . Monty .
  • Lionhead, Angora Rabbit
  • Spayed/Neutered
You will absolutely fall in love with Monty a neutered male dwarf angora lionhead who's about 2 years old. He is very energetic and friendly and enjoys being held and cuddled. Monty needs a home where he will receive lots of attention, several hours daily exercise and regular grooming. His beautiful mane requires extra care and frequent trims to keep him looking and feeling his best. In his former home he lived with a cat. Due to Monty's small size and fragile skeletal system he is NOT recommended for homes with young active children who might accidentally drop and injure him. If your looking for a cute little "Energizer Bunny" and don't mind a high maintenance bunny, then Monty's your rabbit!

 . Ranger .
 . Ranger .
  • American
  • Spayed/Neutered
Ranger was rescued from the Albuquerque Shelter. He was not happy there and found himself on the euthanasia list due to aggressive behavior. Once he was placed in a foster home he has begun to trust humans and his behavior issues are improving. He was just unhappy where he was and who can blame him. Please give him a forever home so he will never have to see the inside of a shelter again.

 . Ziggy .

  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Housebroken
Ziggy is a sweet young boy who is a little over a year old. He was found in an abandoned home with several siblings. All of his siblings found homes and now Ziggy wants to find his forever home too. He is litterbox trained and does not mind being held. Ziggy would be the perfect addition to your family. Ziggy is a courtesy listing and is not a NMHRS rabbit. If you are interested in Ziggy we will be happy to get you in touch with his foster mom for more details.

 . Dex .
 . Dex .
  • English Spot
  • Spayed/Neutered
Dex is an adult male bunny that was found as a stray in Belen, NM. It looks like he had a rough start in life, with a slit in his ear and missing toenail. Probably due to an encounter with a cat. He is a very laid back bunny and content to sit with you on the couch. He loves snacks and will happily eat them out of your hand. Dex seems to do fine with dogs as well. He is not a jumpy bunny, so he should get along well with kids also. Please consider making Dex a part of your family, Dex is a courtesy listing and is not a NMHRS rabbit. If you are interested we would be happy to put you in touch with his foster mom for more details.

 . Tucker .
 . Tucker .
  • American
  • Spayed/Neutered
Tucker is a young male rabbit that was found as a stray in Belen, NM with Dex. He has not been handled much so is still skittish but he is getting better every day. He is starting to let us hold him and has started coming closer to get snacks. He seems to be a bit nervous with dogs but seems to be getting used to them. Tucker is still learning to trust, so it may take some time before he would be comfortable around children. Tucker is a courtesy listing and is not a NMHRS rabbit. If you are interested we would be happy to put you in touch with his foster mom for more details.

This is Eva. She came to House Rabbit Society very timid and scared but with loving care she is learning people are not so bad. Eva needs to have a very gentle and caring home where she feels safe and is able to finally trust her family. She is super sweet and smart. She learned to use the litterbox within a week and she would love to share her special personality with someone special. Could that be you?

 . Harry .
 . Harry .
  • Dutch
  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Up-to-date with routine shots
  • Prefers home without small kids
Bonded Pair--Jenny Courtesy Listing--Harry and Jenny are a bonded brother and sister. They are extremely cute and love to explore together. Their former home kept them outside in a hutch and that was totally unacceptable. They found a foster Mom that takes good care of them but they need a place of their own. These little cuties need plenty of room to run, explore and feel the love of their own family. Please give them a chance to show how much fun a couple of bunnies can be in the home.

  • French-Lop
  • Spayed/Neutered
Hope and Bootsy are a bonded sister pair that must be adopted together. They have had a rough start in life and are eagerly awaiting their forever home. They have been in the shelter for a year now. Recently, Hope the lop was accidentally adopted out as a single bun and her sibling was left behind to grieve the loss of her sister. Luckily with some assistance from NMHRS Hope and Bootsy were reunited but not before suffering a lot of stress due to the separation. Because of this they are taking a break from the shelter and are currently in a foster home. Now more than ever they need to find a forever home where they can live happily together forever. Could you be the loving bunny parent these two so deserve?
