Day of Action Focused on Whole Foods

imageRabbit protection groups around the country are planning on coming together to tell Whole Foods Market what rabbit lovers really think about Whole Foods’ decision to start selling rabbit meat in their stores on August 17, 2014.

New Mexico House Rabbit Society will be participating by holding a peaceful leafleting outside of Whole Foods on 2103 Carlisle Blvd. NE in Albuquerque.

Whole Foods Markets in New Mexico do not yet sell rabbit meat. Our job is to ask Whole Foods customers to fill out comment cards and speak to store management to ask them NOT to carry rabbit, and to tell them that they are unhappy with the company’s decision to start carrying rabbit meat in their other regions.
